For spring breakers this year, the beach rules to obey are nearly the same as years before, but with increased popularity of Treasure Island's Sunset Beach, law enforcement is stepped way up so everyone can enjoy a safe Spring Break.

THE POLICE ARE AMONG YOU
Community Police Officers are assigned to Sunset Beach, utilizing both marked and unmarked police vehicles. The Community Police Officer will also patrol and monitor crowd activity at the Sunday night Drum Circle.
Treasure Island Police Officers will work in plain clothes as part of the weekend deployments in Sunset Beach in conjunction with officers from the Liquor Authority to prevent underage drinking.
SMILE! YOU'RE ON CAMERA
High resolution, pole mounted video cameras are monitoring Sunset Beach from the Treasure Island Police Communications Center.
HANDCUFF FETISH, ANYONE?
Treasure Island officers will transport criminal offenders to either the Pinellas County Jail or Pinellas Juvenile Facility. This does not apply to ordinance violations, only criminal offenses witnessed by the officers.
WHAT NOT TO BRING TO THE BEACH
Beer kegs are prohibited on the beach.
No coolers are allowed on Caddy's property.
No glass bottles are permitted on the beach.
FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS DRIVE DRUNK
Treasure Island Police Officers will conduct frequent, coordinated D.U.I. enforcement patrols during afternoon and evening hours and a D.U.I. checkpoint on Gulf Boulevard.
