	SPRING BREAK 2010 IN TI For spring breakers this year, the beach rules to obey are the same as years before, but with increased popularity of Treasure Island's Sunset Beach, law enforcement is stepped way up so everyone can have a safe spring break.
	SPRING CAMP FOR KIDS Get the kids signed up today for Treasure Island Spring Camp, set for March 29th thru April 2nd. Spaces fill up fast for this popular spring break camp for the 5 to 10 year-old set from Treasure Island's Parks and Recreation Department.
	BUILDING SERVICES FOR MADEIRA BEACH Beginning Monday, March 15, 2010, the City of Treasure Island will provide building plan reviews, building permits and building inspection services for the City of Madeira Beach. Projects which have already been permitted by Pinellas County will be completed by the Pinellas County staff.
	TI MARINA JOINS FLORIDA'S CLEAN MARINAS The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, together with the Clean Boating Partnership, recognizes the City of Treasure Island Municipal Marina as a member of the Florida Clean Marina program and a Clean Marina in Pinellas County.
	NO TI ELECTIONS THIS MARCH Two candidates - Gail Caldwell in District 2 and Alan Bildz in District 4 - successfully filed candidacy papers for commissioner. With no opposition, Caldwell will become the new Distrct 2 commissioner and Bildz will retain his District 4 seat. Swearing in is Tuesday, March 16th.
	2010 CENSUS TO BEGIN Census workers will soon be going door-to-door for the 2010 census. TIPD and the Better Business Bureau say be cooperative but cautious. To avoid becoming an identity theft or fraud victim, we've put together a check list so you can verify authentic census workers.
